Independent Robotics Demonstrates the Future of AI at ALL IN Montréal

This week, our team attended ALL IN Montréal, one of Canada’s largest gatherings focused on artificial intelligence. The event brought together researchers, startups, industry leaders, and policymakers to explore where AI is headed and how it can be applied across different sectors.

Over the two days, we had the chance to join conversations on physical AI, robotics, data analytics, and the role of autonomy in solving everyday challenges. It was encouraging to see so much interest in the kinds of problems we work on, and we’re proud that our message resonated with so many people at the conference.

We also stood out in a unique way. While much of the discussion at ALL IN focused on software and models, we were one of the few demo partners showcasing a physical platform. Our flagship autonomous underwater vehicle, Aqua2, and our multimodal data processing tool, the Insight Engine, gave attendees a concrete look at how robotics and AI can work together to generate useful insights from real-world missions.

Our CTO, Greg Dudek, and CEO, Julian Ware, were on hand to share perspectives on the future of robotics and autonomy, and the conversations sparked around our booth made it clear that there is strong interest in bringing physical AI into practice.

As Canada’s AI ecosystem continues to grow, we’re excited to keep building, collaborating, and showing how autonomy and robotics can make a difference in the real world.
